Cloak ("the App", "we", "us") is a document scanning app that lets you scan, edit, and export identification and other documents using your device's camera.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We have no backend server. All documents you scan or import are processed and stored entirely on your device.

2. Permissions We Request

• Camera — used to scan your documents. Images are processed on-device and never leave your device.
• Photo Library — used only when you choose to import an existing image or export a finished document.

3. Document Storage

Scanned and edited documents are saved locally in the App's storage on your device. We cannot access, view, or retrieve this data. Deleting the App or a document removes it permanently.

4. Advertising

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We do not share your documents or scanned content with AdMob or any advertiser.

5. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated in the App is Google AdMob (advertising). We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or cloud sync services.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You control all data locally by managing documents within the App.

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
